Its the Autumnal Equinox

Happy Autumnal Equinox which was today, 23rd September 2019 at 0850BST. This marks the end of our summer and the start of autumn. For those liking the summer weather it could be a bad day as now we are heading towards the cold of winter. For the astronomers amongst us its a good time, the nights will continue to get darker earlier and the darkness lasts longer. We just hope for more clear skies!!
