Some more Celestron Ex-Demo Bargains (10th November)

We've just added some more ex-demo Celestron equipment to our "nearly new" section. Here is what we have:

For those astroimagers amongst you, there is Celestron's largest Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph (RASA) - a 36cm/14" aperture fast f/2.2 wide field imaging telescope. You will need a "beefy" mount to carry this instrument!

An 11" EdgeHD optical tube assembly. An 11" aperture for some is large enough to satisfy "aperture fever" and also the telescope is not too big or heavy to handle/carry and is also capable of being mounted and supported on a wide range of mounts. The telescope features Celestron's EdgeHD optics so you get sharp images free of coma and field curvature.

If you want a heavy duty GOTO mount then Celestron's CGX-L mount is ideal. It can carry up to 34kg of telescope payload and features larger worm wheels, a longer dovetail with autoguider/Aux accessory ports built in and a more substantial tripod.

If you have a NexStar 6/8 SE or Evolution 5-9.25" and want to try your hand at astroimaging then you can use the SE/Evolution wedge. Polar alignment is simple with Celestron's polar alignment software routine.
