If you are observing at high power, or doing astrophotography you will appreciate that your telescope is as stable as possible. Wind, an unsteady tripod, or even an accidental bump can disturb your image quality. Keep your telescope still while observing with these sturdy Celestron Vibration Suppression pads.
Simply place your tripod legs on top of the pads to absorb shock and stabilise your telescope.
Celestron’s set of three Vibration Suppression Pads are manufactured using a rubber-like material called Sorbothane® that is available only in the USA. It is recognised worldwide as the ultimate material for attenuating shock, isolating vibration and damping noise. No synthetic rubber or polymer can dissipate energy as effectively. Imitations that use silicon which is a lower-cost material, does not work well, and may melt in the sun.
