FLI CentreLine Filter Wheel
One of the issues of using large filter wheels is that they are asymmetrical which means that they can affect the telescope's balance when the telescope is pointing at different points in the sky.
The Finger Lakes Instrumentation (FLI) CentreLine filterwheel uses two in-line overlapping filter carousels with a central telescope and camera apeture. This design means that the filter wheel unit has a symmetrical mass distribution which therefore eliminates changes in the telescope's balance. The CentreLine filterwheel is therefore ideal for us at a telescope's prime focus.
